Alesana is a widely popular, self-proclaimed "Sweetcore" band out of Raleigh, NC. This band has a huge fanbase that spans the globe, has created incredible music and progresses to get better and better with each release. With the release of 2005's "Try This With Your Eyes Closed", they created their most raw, vulnerable music ever. It was your introduction into the world of Alesana... it was the beginning of more than a decade of hard work, perseverance and dedication to their fans. If you're like me, you may have discovered the band later on in their career... just about the time they remastered "Try This With Your Eyes Closed" and added 2 bonus tracks... this version is great. I mean, who doesn't love "Beautiful In Blue", right? But I have been hunting down the ORIGINAL pressing (cover seen above) for going on 8 years..... always coming up with nothing but disappointment. So I am petitioning to have the band create another pressing of the original TTWYEC EP with original files and original artwork. For those who haven't heard it, I suggest you look into it because this EP, to me, is absolute perfection in its rawest form. Won't you help me bring this dream come true to the fans who missed out the first time around? I can't be the only one who wants this to happen and I'm bound and determined to prove it to the guys!
