Hi Everyone! I've been a little silent that last couple of weeks but that doesn't mean I stopped demanding answers. After much persistence, I was able to schedule a meeting with Chris Jessup, Alderman Tunney's new (?) director of community safety (or something like that). Rest assured that our efforst will not stop with this meeting. The Alderman owes all of us a response and a closed-door meeting will not change that. This is about accountability. Once we receive his comments, we'll have the ability to measure his successes/failures on this very important matter. Relatedly, if you don't alreday, I would encourage you to attend your local Neighbor Meetings which are often attended by someone from the Alderman's office (Southport Neighbors, East Lakeview Neighbors, Southeast Lakeview Neighbors, etc).
