Good afternoon everyone! It has been a very long time since our last update. Unfortunately, we bring troubling news regarding coal mining in our beautiful Albertan Rocky Mountains.

It has come to light that the ruling UCP party has told the Alberta Energy Regulator to remove the suspension on coal mining in our mountains. As a result, NEW coal mines could be developed in over 188,000 potential sites extremely quickly; perhaps as quickly as in the following TWO months.

Our response must be swift and uncompromising. We must ALL send letters to the UCP provincial government letting them know that we do NOT approve of any coal mines that contaminate our water, pollute our air, and decimate the natural Albertan beauty that has stood for thousands of years.
