Good morning everyone!

It has been over a year since we achieved our victory. The Alberta government had paused any type of coal mining in our precious Rockies, and this pause has held since June 2021. Since that time, news have been relatively quiet regarding mining operations in our precious Rockies.

However, the Australian company Atrum Coal Ltd., which wanted to destroy our landmarks for profit, are now suing the Alberta government! This company is seeking over $3.5 billion dollars for the temporary pause on coal exploration and operations. Clearly, they seek to pressure our provincial government to either pay them an absurd amount of money, or open up our mountains for destruction.

We will continue monitoring new developments, and will notify you all if direct action is needed. We will all ensure our Rocky Mountains are protected from the greed of profit-oriented foreign companies.
