3. Attend the Board of Regents Specially Called Teleconference Meeting on Monday, March 3, 2025.
   Please Arrive at 10:30AM (Meeting starts promptly at 11:00AM).

   Attire: Business Attire (Blue & Gold, if possible)
   Note: All Board of Regents members may not be present, but we must be present!!!

I hope you are doing well. As a proud alum and long-time supporter of Albany State University, I am reaching out to express deep concerns about the presidential selection process. The current approach lacks transparency and has eroded confidence in the Board’s commitment to securing strong, visionary leadership for our institution. I urge the Board of Regents to restart the search process during the upcoming Board meeting on Monday, March 3, 2025.

Albany State University deserves a president with a proven track record—someone capable of driving meaningful, enduring progress. Appointing or selecting another inexperienced interim president, such as Dr. Lawrence Drake, or any unqualified candidate would only continue a pattern that has not served the university well.

To secure Albany State University’s future success, we must ensure that the next president is a leader who can elevate the institution and unite our community in pursuit of its success.
