So many at Virgin America and Alaska for that matter have wondered what the purpose of this petition is and to be honest, its to take a stand. A show of solidarity not yet seen at Virgin America. We have let things slip and slide in the name of a brand in which we so truly believed in. Maybe that's why some of our counterparts don't get why we stayed or even came to Virgin America. We didn't join a company, we joined a family. We rolled up our sleeves and helped put things together, we walked the streets of San Francisco asking people to tell the government to let us fly, we put our blood, sweat, and tears into this family... this brand ... this wasn't just a company ... it was OUR company ... OUR Virgin America.
I will say this. Maybe nothing will come of this, but is it a waste of time and space? No, at the very least we have 3,000 supporters who think something is amiss here. That something is wrong when you have one airline and two pay scales.
Anything and everything is possible!
