Member for Hinkler Keith Pitt wants Bundaberg to be the next trial site for the cashless welfare card trial. This will marginalise already vulnerable people and it will do nothing to create more employment opportunities in our region. It will stifle economic growth and create an us and them town. Crime has increased in current trial areas and 49% of trial participants said it has made their lives worse. Don't let Keith Pitt treat us like Guinea Pigs. We will all be worse off if this goes ahead.
