Another milestone! I won't deluge you all in updates, so I think I'll hold off until 4 or 5 thousand. 5k will be a big one. I will share some stuff, though. For one, some fans have gone out of their way to create videos to draw attention to the cause, so I'll give them some as well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XnsbNuBMIJs - from Skye Cosplay, a cosplay team who got engaged because of BlazBlue. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NSKNsyqguK4 - a well edited one from Anime Inspirations, complete with footage from CF. If anyone has any videos, art, etc., they care to share, feel free to hit me up. Now, on a down note: the site updates. As far as I know, the other sites we've been after have yet to publish articles about the petition or the dub. Siliconera has given us an update via their comments section, though. Well, sort of... http://www.siliconera.com/2016/09/02/blazblue-central-fiction-clip-shows-off-bits-animated-scenes-gameplayh/ "We've covered stuff like petitions in the past, but the problem that followed was that we got a lot of flood of emails and various requests from fans and others after, and when we didn't cover them, we got plenty of angry comments and overall unnecessary drama. Nope, I actually wasn't aware about the petition when I wrote the article, so I find it pretty funny that some nerds get riled up as if we ignored it on purpose. The fact of the matter is, we don't post articles about petitions, end of story. If other sites post it, good on them. The petition isn't "news" but the no dub thing, sure. It's my time off and I'm actually out enjoying my weekend right now, so I'll check it later, if no one else does. And you guys are doing a horrible job at convincing us to write about it, just letting you know." Oh, and regarding our emails? "1.) That email in the petition isn't even our contact email. 2.) Even if we did get anything, I wasn't told by the people who run the site." Their email, siliconera@gmail.com, is LINKED TO AT THE TOP OF THEIR SITE('got a tip?'). Whoops. My comments calling the author and the site out on their poor attitude and hypocrisy were all deleted, and I was banned from the comments section. So far as I'm concerned, that front is off-limits, and not worth the time. The readers there who care will hopefully find out, one way or another, but if you're feeling adventurous, you're welcome to brave the minefield that is their comments and call them out. Thanks for supporting, everyone. Aksys and Arcsys still refuse to comment, but believe me, they know; waves are being made, both within and without. I'm hearing a lot about the fallout. https://twitter.com/ArcSystemWorksU/status/771773215513251840 Don't settle for smug remarks as comments, though. Make it rain. support@aksys.com The tsunami's still on the way.
