UPDATE: Well, after a very late into the night town council meeting I am pleased to report the captain of the Nazi warship the Graf Spree will no longer be honoured with a street name in Ajax, Ontario. Mr. Eisen, a Holocaust survivor spoke beautifully and it was like hearing my grandfather speak again. Many thanks to counsellors Lisa Bower, Sterling Lee, Marilyn Gallagher Crawford and Rob Tyler Morin for standing on the right side of history. The street will be renamed to that of one of the allied sailers who fought on the HMS Ajax, HMS Exeter or HMS Achilles.  Thank you everyone for taking the time to sign this petition and support the cause!
