The Issue
Air Canada recently altered Taiwan’s designation on its website, calling it “Taipei, China”. This is offensive to the 23 million people of Taiwan, as Taiwan is not and has never been part of the PRC.
We ask that Air Canada reconsider this erroneous nomenclature in favour of the much more accurate and therefore preferable “Taipei, Taiwan”.
