Global Moratorium on AI Autonomous Weapons

We call for a Global Moratorium on AI Weapons that can select and kill without human control.

What are AI Autonomous Weapons? Systems using AI to identify, select and kill without a human deciding to fire. Drone swarms, autonomous targeting, self-learning kill chains.

Why apocalyptic by design:

1.       No human control

2.       Swarm logic — one becomes thousands

3.       Black box — no accountability

4.       Self-learning kill chain Scale — can target a continent

5.       Dual-use perversion

6.       Irreversible

Why Moratorium now:

1.       Technical — AI fails, Misidentifies

2.       Legal — Violates IHL, war crime risk

3.       Military — Creates arms race, less safe

4.       Economic — Trillions to create misery, not eradicate

5.       Moral — Farms must stay farms

6.       Climate — Weapons burn climate

7.       Existential — Genocide is not development

We request:

1.       Immediate global moratorium on autonomous weapons without human control

2.       International treaty with verification

3.       Traceability and accountability

4.       Redirect funding to AI that eradicates misery

5.       UN process to make it permanent

AI that eradicates misery must grow. AI that creates misery must stop.
