Response from ANMAC

Dear all
I have received an email from ANMAC that ACN is waiting for CRICOS accreditation to recruit international students. Once ACN get CRICOS approval they will provide admission for international students.
Hope this give a little relief for you. I have requested to their support to resolve the issue and hope will get some positive outcome.
Please find email response received from ANMAC below.
"Dear Jomet
ANMAC is an independent accreditation authority. Our role is to determine that programs of study for nurses and midwives seeking to practice in Australia meet required education standards. This contributes to protecting the health and safety of the community. The programs we accredit lead to registration with the NMBA. AHPRA regulate Australia’s health practitioners in partnership with the NMBA.
It was our understanding that ACN would admit international students once they have authorisation for CRICOS.
We recommend that you address this query to ACN and AHPRA.
Kind Regards
Administration Officer
