Agora Cyber Charter School of Pennsylvania has announced new computers to be sent out to its students the school year of 2015-16. These computers will enable teachers to look at students' screens and close any tabs which are not on topic. While this might seem to be only a move to ensure good education, it denies every one of the roughly 8,000 students enrolled in Agora their right to privacy.

There are other ways to ensure students are paying attention. Stalking their personal internet activities is not one of them.
