Dear Supporters,
We have an update regarding my parents' immigration case. The Assistant Immigration Minister’s Office has granted my parents a 6-month tourist visa, allowing my mother to visit her ailing mother and my father to return to Australia. We are grateful for this temporary relief.
However, this short-term solution leaves us back at square one after six months. The core issue—our request for Ministerial discretion due to the exploitation my parents endured—remains unresolved. The current parent visa option has a 16-year wait and costs $100,000 for both parents, which is beyond our means.
After 10 years of contributing to Australia, my parents deserve permanent residency, not another temporary fix. They shouldn't have to buy it—they’ve earned it. We kindly ask for your support in urging the Assistant Immigration Minister to make this temporary solution a permanent one. Please email here and share this message with others.
Thank you for your continued support.
Sincerely,
The Singh and Kaur Family
