AFS Alumni Global Community Condemns Act of War.

We are part of an international NGO promoting peace and Intercultural dialogue through international youth exchanges all over the world. We are sad and deeply concerned about the evolving conflicting situation in Ukraine.
We strongly believe in dialogue and in diplomacy, and where it fails, we still insist on that by trying to make people become friends one to the other by making them share life experiences.
If we can not do anything else for what is happening, we can still work and put our efforts, today, for making the world a better place tomorrow!
We ask for the support of the major international institutions for helping us growing and enhancing intercultural youth programs all over the globe that would led to reduction of conflicts and to a safer and healthier world.

What can we do today? If you lost contact with your AFS chapter, it is time to get back in contact with it! Let's work hard, all together, for enhancing and supporting the AFS community wherever we are. Let's go back to volunteer for AFS, let's do it for us, for our friends, and for the future generations. We have a strong impact on youth's lives, and every volunteer contribute to change lives and create connections that overcome borders. So, let's help AFS to grow in our communities, by committing ourselves to volunteer for this great NGO!
