As we progress toward 3000 signatories to 'Bring Back The Bars' let us remember where the ‘Bars’ originated from.

Steeped in tradition and history @PAFC adopted the vision you see of  the wharf in this photo taken in 1901. It's most unique trait is the guernsey is a literal depiction of the area it represents, that being the wharves and pylons of the Port's docks.

The coining of the term 'Prison Bars' was a derogatory depiction from opposition supporters who thought it suited @PAFC blue collar style of play. Tough, hard, relentless football.

Steeped in heritage, history, tradition and worn in the most successful era of any football club in Australia we believe this iconic guernsey should not be lost to the @AFL and should be brought back from 2020.
