Some good news to share: Last Thursday, No One Left Behind volunteers joined 30 members of the U.S. House of Representatives led by Rep. Blumenauer and Rep. Kinzinger and 7 U.S. Senators led by Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH) and Thom Tillis (R-NC) to introduce bipartisan legislation that would provide additional visas for Afghans who have assisted the U.S. mission in Afghanistan and whose lives are in jeopardy because of their service.

The Afghan Allies Protection Act of 2019 would provide 4,000 Afghan Special Immigrant Visas (SIV) for the remainder of fiscal year 2019 and begin to address administrative obstacles that prevent Afghan and Iraqi allies from receiving visas through SIV programs.
