This started with a question that wouldn’t leave me alone.

Why are places that say they provide affordable clothing no longer affordable for so many people?

Over the past few weeks, thousands of people have shared the same experience
working, paying their bills, doing everything “right”…
and still having nothing left.

That gap is real. And it’s growing.

So instead of just talking about it, I’m doing something about it.

I’m starting The Village Project
a community led initiative to collect, clean, and redistribute clothing directly to people who need it
without judgement, without gatekeeping, and without making people prove they’re struggling enough.

At the same time, we’re beginning a community garden
a space where we grow food together, share it, and rebuild what a real village is supposed to feel like.

Right now, this is in the early stages.
I’m in the process of setting everything up properly, which means there are upfront costs to get this off the ground.

This GoFundMe is to help cover those setup costs and get this moving now
not in months, not when approvals are finished, but now, before winter hits.

Everything will be transparent.
Every dollar will be accounted for.
You’ll see exactly what this turns into.

There is absolutely no pressure to donate.
But if you’ve been following along, if this matters to you, or if you want to be part of building something better.

And if you can’t donate, sharing this helps more than you think.

Let’s build the village we actually needed 🖤
