The US Government has ordered banks and financial services pay compensation for exactly the same wrongdoings that the financial organisations have done to Australian citizens.

The government spent $500m on the Hayne Royal Commission into Misconduct by the banks etc. The RC identified systemic misconduct. Why hasn't the Australian government ordered compensation to those of us who have suffered financial duress?
