We are blown away by the engagement that has already been cultivated. The petition was launched at 4 pm on Friday. It's been just over 48 hours and we are paced to meet our first goal of 100 signatures in no time! 

It is so exciting to see how many people care about this cause. 

It's also been disheartening how many Jessup staff and professors have come forward saying that they are so excited that something is being done, but that have to remain silent/anonymous out of fear of losing their job or being retaliated against by the University's leadership. Though disheartening, this confirms the need for action.

We are on the right track, and we could not be more proud of the Jessup community!

Here are some things to remember: 

• Be mindful of paper trails when discussing with staff so that nothing can be associated with them for their safety and job security. 
• Do not mention any professors or staff by name who have shown support while conversing about our cause. 
• This petition is NOT just for students and alumni - This petition can be signed by ANYONE who considers Jessup to be near to them in some capacity.
