I have some very good news. I spoke with Representative Dudley Greene today. He had already had a bill in mind and was working to draft it. He saw this petition and reached out to me. Mr. Greene is working to draft a bill to send to Raleigh to create an exemption for Statue 28C, and we are naming it Alena's Law! ❤️ I am invited to visit the NC General Assembly to participate in the discussions on behalf of my family and my cousin Alena Ayers. 🧡 thank you everyone that signed my petition.
