As our campaign for the Humboldt Lily (Lilium humboldtii) continues to gain traction, we are looking at real, hands-on ways to bring this vision to life across Long Beach!

Local Seed Collaborations: We are exploring potential partnerships with native plant advocates, seed-saving networks, and community gardens interested in harvesting and distributing California native seeds.
Mailing & Sharing Seeds: The goal isn't just to talk about our potential city flower, but to help residents actually plant native species in their own yards, neighborhood spaces, and garden patches.
The Humboldt Lily is a symbol of resilience, requiring deep roots, seasonal patience, and the right care to thrive. By connecting with local growers and community members who share and mail out seeds, we can make sure our native ecosystem grows stronger together.
