I'm not a politician. I’m an ordinary citizen who’s had enough of watching Britain get harder for almost everyone I know. Wages aren’t keeping up, prices keep rising, and people are working harder than ever but feeling poorer every year. It shouldn’t be like this — for any of us.

That’s why I created the Fair & Just Britain Framework: a new economic model designed to make life better for 99.9% of people, not just a small fraction at the top. It’s built around simple, common-sense changes that any government could adopt.

The Core of the Plan:
1. Make Work Pay Again

• Raise the real living wage to £28,000
• Make the first £25,000 tax-free
• Keep progressive, fair tax bands above that
  → Millions get an instant pay rise, and full-time work finally beats welfare.

2. Make Life Cheaper Every Year

• Cut VAT from 20% down to 15% immediately
• Then cut it 1% every year until it reaches 5% permanently
  → Prices fall in real terms, easing the cost-of-living crisis year after year.

3. Build a Fairer Tax System

• Close loopholes
• Tax UK income in the UK
• Stop profit-shifting
• Align capital gains with income tax
  → A clean, simple system that treats everyone fairly.

4. Reward Long-Term, Fair Businesses

• Long-Service Business Discounts for companies that stay, reinvest and pay fair wages
  → Good employers pay less tax; exploitative ones lose benefits.

5. Eliminate National Debt the Smart Way

• Use VAT above 5% as a “Debt Engine”
• As debt falls, the £100bn/year interest bill collapses
  → That money goes into services, investment and long-term prosperity.

6. Create a UK Future Fund

• A sovereign wealth fund similar to Norway’s
• Built from national surpluses
  → Makes Britain wealthier over time and less dependent on borrowing.

7. Give Everyone a Stake in National Success

• Annual Base Dividend for all adults
• Contribution Bonus for taxpayers (capped fairly)
  → When Britain does well, every citizen benefits.

Why This Matters
For decades, the gap between what life costs and what people earn has kept growing. Families are stretched thin. Young people can’t build a future. Pensioners are squeezed. Small businesses fight to survive. Our economy feels rigged, fragile and unfair.

We need a new system, not just new slogans.

The Fair & Just Britain Framework is a blueprint that:

• raises wages,
• lowers taxes for ordinary people,
• cuts living costs,
• helps businesses grow,
• reduces debt,
• strengthens the NHS and social care,
• and gives everyone a fair shot at a decent life.

This is not about left or right.
This is about fairness, stability and a better future for ordinary people.
