Triple Lock Saved Again! Now Let's Save Freeview TV!
Following pressure from Silver Voices, Andy Burnham has rejected the advice of his close advisers and confirmed that the Triple Lock is safe for this Parliament at least. We have now resisted pressures to scrap the Lock under both Labour and Tory Governments.
The latest threat to older people is to scrap Freeview TV received through an aerial, and to force everyone to take out a fast broadband contract to continue watching their favourite programmes. This campaign is taking off big time so please sign our petition on the issue:
