Budget Fails Older People on Winter Fuel Support: We Must Build Mass Movement

The Budget Speech failed to mention the cruel decision to cut winter fuel support, an omission which insults the hundreds of thousands of people who have called for a rethink. The Chancellor also refused to rule out attacks on other pensioner benefits, or on the state pension itself. We must build a mass movement of older people, led by Silver Voices, to defend  our hard-won, and paid-for, benefits.
