Hello, We are Youth Against Sexual Violence South Australia (YASV) and Call4Action, we are a grassroots, youth-led activist groups lobbying for national reform in Australian schools current approach to education surrounding sexual education and wellbeing/relationships. We believe that the focus drawn towards these reforms and this sector of education in our schools will significantly decrease the staggering statistics and rates of sexual violence perpetrated and aimed towards youth and adolescents. We believe that changes to these toxic cultures and behaviour patterns start in our school communities, where primary prevention can be applied and enforced.

As we have grown in support, our event size and costs have as well. Covering these costs is particularly difficult for us due to our age, and that we are only students.

Any donations put towards our fund will be going towards our March and Rally occurring in Adelaide on the 24th of June. Costs we need to cover include:

Emergency first aid.

Paying Indigenous speakers for their acknowledgment to country.

Costs of hiring AUSLAN interpreter.

Equipment Hires.

Any donations are much appreciated and any remaining funds will be going directly towards our next event or being directly donated towards Catherine House Foundation Adelaide.
