Stop the Adelaide Invitational 2018 bull riding event from going ahead

The Adelaide Invitational 2018 event is planned to be held at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre (AEC) on the 8th of December. It will involve professional bull riders and bulls which have been provoked to buck. In the 2017 Adelaide Invitational the bull snapped his hind leg and was staggering around in agonising pain, struggling to walk. The bull was put down soon after. The ABC noted this in an article as “distressing footage captured by a spectator” and a “catastrophic” display of events. Despite this cruelty the AEC are hosting the event again this year.
As quoted by Animals Australia:
“Rodeos are a cruel spectator sport, condemned by all animal protection organisations, in which bulls, horses and sometimes other animals are physically provoked into displaying 'wild' behaviour by the use of such devices as spurs, electric prods and flank straps. Rodeo animals suffer many kinds of injuries, and are sometimes killed or have to be destroyed.”
Adelaide Entertainment Centre: please show us that you care about the welfare of animals more than making profits. Stop enabling animal cruelty.
