We are very excited to invite you to a presentation by our founder, Dr. Angie Vredeveld, RISE's Legal Advisor, Arnold Agaba, and Ellen Galloway, RISE's President of the Board of Directors on February 8, 4:30PM EST at the University of Cincinnati College of Law.  Can't attend in person?  Join us via zoom!  

In this presentation, we will outline our plans (happening in a few weeks!) for the launch of the Situational Analysis, the report we've been preparing that will help us make a case for why a law is needed in Uganda.  We will also discuss the bill we have drafted and why we think the bill, if passed into law, will significantly reduce the incidence of acid violence in Uganda and provide justice for people attacked.

We are planning a short presentation but this will primarily be a QUESTION & ANSWER format.  Please let us know what questions you have about our research, our organization, acid attacks in general, and the bill we have drafted!
