As Julie and Daniel have continued their research in more remote areas of Uganda, there is one need that is becoming more and more apparent- the need for these survivors to be able to stay connected. 

Many Ugandan survivors live in remote areas and in extreme poverty.  Having a smart phone helps connect them to Julie and Daniel, to each other via chat groups, and to business opportunities (for example, selling products they make on social media.)
