Hello wonderful supporters!

I have an inspiring story to share:

One of our 15 year old volunteers, Colin, called his Senator to support HB490.  A day later that Senator cosponsored our bill.  He told Senator Stewart that he had not heard of the bill until his constituent called, and thought it was a great bill!  ONE PHONE CALL MADE IMPACT.

Our bills need a lot of help getting to the next step!  Please continue to call your legislators AND the chairs of the committees to request SB490 and HB281 be put on the agenda and ask them to cosponsor.

If you called already - thank you.  If your legislator hasn't cosponsored yet, please call again!  Tell them you noticed we are not on the agenda and that they have not cosponsored.   PERSISTENCE is key.

Hierarchy of impact:

  1. In person visit
  2. Phone Call
  3. Hand Written Letter
  4. Email - this is great but does not get noticed as much as the other outreach options

If you can take 3 minutes out of your day to make a quick phone calls - YOU can make a difference. CLICK HERE for our toolkit.

Join our event on 12/4!  If you are in Central Florida  we would love to see you in person! (masked ;)
