Such great progress!

Well on the way to 100 signatures within a working week! Thanks everyone for signing! Such a good response for a little local issue like this shows how much it's needed.

So what's the plan from here?
City of Hobart is effectively closed until next year so the plan is to submit the petition first thing in the new year. That should mean it's tabled at the January council meeting. That leaves plenty of time for a report to be produced and considered before the 2024-25 budget is finalised. And fingers crossed we could get a footpath late next year or early 2025!

What else can I do?
Obviously the more signatures the better. To help with this can you all please:

• make sure everyone in your household has signed
• make sure your neighbours know about it
• mention it to people you pass on the track
• share it on social media
