This update is two years coming. Three officers and two paramedics have just been charged for the murder of Elijah McClain.

Without consistent advocacy, these charges would not have happened. Attorney General Weiser was not even appointed to investigate Elijah’s death until June 25th of 2020.

• A grand jury has issued charges in the 2019 death of Elijah McClain
• 3 officers and 2 paramedics have been charged with a 32-count indictment
• Each party faces one charge of manslaughter and criminally negligent homicide and a variety of assault charges
• Attorney General Phil Weiser announced, “Our goal is to seek justice for Elijah McClain, for his family and friends and for our state.”
