Elijah died because he was injected with a powerful drug called ketamine – a drug police officers are using to sedate people across the country, with serious side effects. Even the Colorado Department of Health is concerned about this trend, and has launched an investigation into ketamine.
Next Monday, Aurora Councilman Curtis Gardner will introduce a resolution to ban the use of ketamine by law enforcement until 30 days after the Department of Health’s investigation is complete. This resolution needs our support, to protect Aurora residents from this powerful and potentially dangerous drug.
