The North vs. the Land

The Issue

The Toronto Raptors represent more than the city of Toronto. They represent the hard driven, passionate, and semi-insane, fans across Canada.

Canada has grown to open its arms to the NBA and the growth of basketball within our nation. Despite this, we the people, feel that the NBA has disrespected both the Raptors and their Canadian fans.

The officiating of the Cleveland and Toronto series has been terrible lopsided. This is evident solely within the difference in foul calls alone. Despite the Raptors dominant performance in Game 3; the Raptors had the losing end of foul calls with 17 against their 10.

There is enough video evidence to demonstrate the poor officiating that the NBA and the referees association should have at least made a statement as per the incorrect calls.

These calls are not invisible. We know that you see them as you fined Raptors coach, Dwayne Casey, $25,000 for addressing it. The Raptors are not invisible. We are not invisible. We are a loud and proud fan base that demand the NBA address this unjust bias.

Those who sign this petition stand with the Toronto Raptors in their quest to attain fair officiating.
