Meta has decided to remove end to end encryption from Instagram starting May 2026. E2EE (End to end Encryption for Instagram) DMs is an option which allows your DMs to be fully encrypted and private, not even Meta can know about the content of your conversation.

Cyberstorm.mu discovered that this feature is not available in Mauritius. We are writing this petition to ask meta to enable this feature FOR ALL MAURITIANS. 

We want the highest level of security and privacy for instagram DMs. We request all Mauritians to sign this petition to make this possible.
