How did Jason Hall get bond granted? Let's address the facts of the case as found in public records of the Bond Hearing on 2/9/2021 in Fulton county court records.  

First of all, there was NO PRELIMINARY HEARING held.

At the bond hearing, it was learned that Kelly was shot once, at close range, in the face.  Jason didn’t deny shooting and killing her, however, is claiming it to be an accident/self-defense. (Kelly was what, 105 pounds, to his 180+ pounds?) In fact, his Public Defender argued that Kelly was the instigator by throwing picture frames at him!!  It should also be noted, Jason had no defensive wounds according to Prosecutor and instead of calling 911 to get medical help for Kelly, he ran from the residence.

We also learned that after Jason killed her, he called his family (not hers as the news has incorrectly reported) and just kept saying “oh my god” over and over.  He didn’t tell them what he did until he left his and Kelly's apartment and got to his dad’s house in Sugar Hill. Once he told them, it was Jason's stepmom that called the Police and asked that Kelly be checked on. While she was on the phone, Jason left their residence with his gun and met his mom at a nearby gas station, where he then turned off his phone and abandoned it and his car, and went with her to Northeast Georgia Medical Center for an apparent panic attack/mental health screening. It’s unclear if he ever got the screening, but he fled the hospital to some outside building and had about an hour-long armed stand-off with cops before he was arrested, taken to Roswell PD, and then Fulton County Jail.

So how was he essentially released with nearly NO conditions? He is free to go wherever he pleases, so long as it’s not near her friends and family and HAS NO RESTRICTIONS TO FIREARMS!?!?

Please help us continue to seek justice for Kelly's senseless murder.  Continue to share this petition. Let's put pressure on Assistant DA Adam Abbate and Judge Kimberly Esmond Adams to have his bond revoked IMMEDIATELY.
