First I want to thank you for signing our petition. Its the little things that matter the most and there should be no shame in asking for help when you are in need. 

For many people, Hump Day is also Laundry Day, but for more and more people struggling to make ends meet they are trading off doing laundry for the immediate need of food, shelter, transportation, etc. We have been doing our part at Free Laundry Access, by hosting monthly events in 3 cities now (Toronto, Hamilton, and Vancouver) helping struggling Canadians regain their dignity, restore their health and mental well-being, and allow them and their children fully participate in society without the risk of side eye and anxiety. People registered in our program tell us every month what a positive impact having clean clothes means to them. They can hold their heads higher, they can send their kids to school with confidence, and they can provide for their loved ones. 

Our goal is to bring this petition to all levels of government and corporate stakeholders in the laundry industry to show them that people need help. Clean clothes is an essential part of fully enjoying life, and needs to be seen and recognized as an essential need. 

We would appreciate any support you could provide in sharing our simple message, or promoting our petition to gain sufficient signatures to ensure the future is bright, and CLEAN for anyone who needs help.
