Every year, millions of people gather around their screens to watch the Grammys as their favorite musicians get incredible awards (or get snubbed). There’s just one problem—one of those awards is super confusing and toootally misleading.

For decades we’ve called it “Record of the Year,” when clearly, it should be called Single of the Year. I mean, who even buys records anymore? Okay lots of people but that’s NOT THE POINT.

The point is, Single is the absolute best. And simply put, it just makes sense. (I mean c’mon it’s a SINGLE song from an album that wins.) So help us help the Recording Academy make things right. Change Record of the Year to SINGLE OF THE YEAR.
