Tackling Absent Fathers

Apr 8, 2018
Yay! We have reached our first hurdle and now have 500 signatures.
This is great news and a major achievement for all those behind the petition as it shows the want to get Absent Fathers to be engaged in their children's lives and be accountable for the mental, physical and emotional needs of the children who they've abandoned. With all the recent ongoings with youth killings and the loss of control on our London Streets it's imperative that we tackle the dysfunction of the home and get the government to answer some of our much need questions pertaining to single parent families and support for the broken family structure. Single mothers don't need to be stigmatised and blamed for the pitfalls in our society we need help from the men who have left us to deal with the effects of their absence.
Also, we have gained our first recruiter Dionne Daniel for the petition and are seeking an army of men and women to help spread the word about our petition #tacklingabsentfathers to get more people signing. Lets now get to 1000 by next week Sunday. If you feel you have the skills to help market the petition and would like to be a voice for the campaign please get in touch. Send us an email expressing your interest to: info@ascottproductions.com
One signature at a time we are making the change that we want to see. The power is in our hands to make a difference and not be accustomed by what we are forced to believe is right. Please continue to share.
