Brutally Honest Film about Absentee Fathers Launches Crowdfunding Campaign

Tackling Absent Fathers

Feb 23, 2018
Dear Supports,
I hope you are all well and having a blessed Friday.
Apologies for the silence, however we have been busy on the production front getting set for Principal Photography on our indie film ABSENT.
As you are aware a group of filmmakers are behind the campaign "Tackling Absent Fathers" and we'd like to announce that we have recently launched our crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo, to help raise the remaining funds to make our hard-hitting drama; that will bring additional awareness to the detrimental effects of absentee fathers and open up a much needed debate for social change.
We are currently seeking contributors to get involved with the campaign to help us raise the remaining funds and have some amazing PERKS for your rewards, and additional special PERKS for Single Mums. Any contribution is greatly appreciated and even a small contribution will help us reach our goal.
You can make a contribution to the campaign by visiting: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/absent-the-cycle-of-a-broken-home-film-community/x/14485583#/ and do ensure sure to watch the video where our director Aysha Scott speaks about her experiences of having an absent father.
We are dedicated and committed to bringing this subject matter to the forefront of the mainstream media and by film being such a powerful medium we are one a step closer to doing so.
If you have any questions regarding our Change.org campaign or ABSENT: The Cycle of a Broken Home feel free to get in touch.
Please do continue to share this campaign as we are still in need of more signatures, to reach our objective of the campaign.
Thank you for your support on the movement of #tacklingabsentfathers
Have a great Friday.
Kind Regards
Absent Team
