With your unwavering support, we’ve achieved a monumental victory! Major amendments have been made to Article 11 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960, marking a new era for animal rights in India.

Here are some key changes:

- Bestiality Criminalized: Now classified under “gruesome cruelty,” with harsh penalties for those who inflict extreme suffering.
- Stronger Penalties: Fines up to ₹75,000 or imprisonment of up to five years for offenses, including the killing of animals.
- Animal Freedoms: Every animal is guaranteed five essential freedoms, ensuring they live without hunger, pain, or distress, and can express natural behavior.
-Care for Community Animals: Local governments are now responsible for ensuring the well-being of stray animals.

This is more than a legal change—it’s a shift in how we respect and protect the lives of those who share this world with us. Thank you to everyone who signed, donated, and believed in this cause. Let’s continue our pledge to create a world where no animal suffers at human hands. Together, through stronger laws, we are making a difference!
