As an individual passionate about music and rave culture, it's disheartening to be denied access to these events due to arbitrary age restrictions. I believe that music, and the communal experience of a rave, should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their age.

This not only excludes younger music lovers but also dictates the kind of experiences and cultures they can partake in. According to the Association for Electronic Music (AFEM), the global electronic music industry is worth $7.1 billion as of 2019, with a considerable portion being young people under the age restrictions.

These age limitations not only limit cultural participation but also the growth of the industry by alienating a significant demographic of potential fans and future artists. Considerings this impact, it is crucial that we reconsider age restrictions on rave events.
