Pooh Sticks is a quirky local tradition that is under threat due to it's own popularity. 

Needing to move from it's traditional home in Whittenham a new location has to be found. 

'Nags Island' in Abingdon is perfect. Is is next door to a large car-park and the football pitches and is located near to where Abingdon Rotary hold their 'Dragon Boat Racing'. It will be a great boost to a fantastic town and tradition. 

The infrastructure is there, the people are there, the brilliant pubs are there. Now let's bring the Pooh!

UPDATE: 

I have identified 6 bridges that I belive would be gret venues, all with car-parking and space. If not Nags, then still Abingdon!
