In publications, both print and internet, John Rolfe who is a journalist associated with the News Limited stable of publishing houses wrote a story that was skewed to try and lay blame against the Property Club for the demise of a builder that caused the buyer's financial stress.

The story was published on the 14th July 2016 regarding the Craigieburn Development (2010) and was a deliberate attempt to shame the Property Club. The facts within the publication failed to name the builder or the efforts that the Property Club had made as a consequence of the collapse of the builder and the effects this had on the buyers. The damages were solely caused by the consequences of the builder’s failure. The story also failed to detail what the statutory insurer did for the buyers in the development.

John Rolfe has written many stories concerning the Property Club that have been fueled by two disgraceful individuals whom the Property Club is currently preparing litigation against and therefore will not be named at this time. (Once the litigation is over we shall give full details of these disgraceful persons if the court does not prevent their disclosure however we know one of the aliases to be Alan Wardel from the Gold Coast.

John Rolfe has demonstrated that his journalism is skewed against the Property Club and that when he writes he fails to fully give a balanced investigative view based on the facts associated with the story.

If you are also of the view that the Property Club cannot be held responsible for the failure of what was understood to be the largest builder in Victoria at the time of the collapse, then we ask you to join the petition to have the material removed from the internet by the News Limited stable.
