ABC recently announced that Conviction will be cancelled. 13 episodes will air,but back nine was never ordered, indicating the show could be cancelled for good. Another source shows that an official decision has not been made from the network which is keeping option open on all the actors. The show could also be used for purposes other than entertainment such as teaching people stuff about forensic science which will come in handy for people who want to pursue a career like the ones shown in Conviction. Reports have shown that ABC still holds season 2 options on the show and the cast(including Haley Atwell and Emily Kinney). Many people would love to watch the show but can't due to the timing and day it is on, ABC has considered moving the show to a more compatible night.
