ABC's (political) decision to drop Last Man Standing appears to have seriously bitten them in the backside. Their ratings are tanking, and not just in the time slot formerly occupied by Last Man Standing, but across the board. They only have one show with improved ratings, and it is neither a similar show nor does it occupy the same time slot. They dropped their highest rated comedy, and now they are hurting. With that said, all hope for Last Man Standing is not lost. For some inexplicable reason, ABC decided to pull Roseanne out of the dust bin after a two decade hiatus, so it is not remotely unreasonable to think they might see the error of their ways and bring back Last Man Standing after a much shorter absence.
