Update on adult release of citrate free Humira

Hello friends, We are still basking in the afterglow of the painless Humira injection my kiddo got yesterday. She’s been excitedly telling all of her friends, teachers, and family. I post my recommendations for steps to take to get the citrate free Humira filled for peds patients. You can find that on my last update post. I’ve received many messages from parents who are having difficulty. I’m responding to all of those messages and will continue to. Your Ambassadors are here to help facilitate the transition as well! Each day more pharmacies will get supplies of Humira without citrate buffers. If yours isn’t filling it yet, there are steps you can take to have them fill the order. Again, my last post has a little more information but your Ambassador is the perfect person to walk you through it! Marissa, our Humira Ambassador, called this morning to hear how the injection went. During our phone call she stated the adult release would be on its way later in the year. I would encourage any adult patients to reach out to your Ambassador with Humira to hear more about timelines! I’ve received many messages from adult patients or people with children just reaching adult age. Reach out to your reps and continue to ask for a timeline and release date!
