A Change to the wording of the petition

Hello everyone, FYI, I've amended the wording of the petition to read as follows: “An act to alter the Constitution, so that Australian citizens in the event of unemployment or retirement, have the inalienable right to a nontaxable monetary allowance equivalent to the cost of living measured quarterly in each capital city by a committee of unemployed adults, without government interference on how the individual spends the allowance.” I did this because who better than the unemployed or pensioners to know the real cost of living? If you don't agree with the wording of the petition, you can unsign your signature from the first email which you received when you signed the petition or you can contact me and I will remove your name before presenting the petition. The other thing I want to mention is next year in May or June 2019 there will be a federal election. If 800,000 or more people signed this petition, it would encourage some politicians to break ranks with their party’s policies, while putting enormous pressure on other politicians to call for a referendum or to put forward one of the other plans. By the way, if anyone is interested, I did some research on applications for single job vacancies in Melbourne, and I also tallied how many people are either unemployed or looking for more work throughout Australia. That figure is 19.22 percent of Australia’s workforce.
