Update:

This is now over 200 injuries from 2022 - Present with over 100 videos and voicemail records , perjury, professional misconduct, falsifying, affidavit, falsifying on record, lying under oath and so much more. I’ve only cracked open the tip, And yes, here we are again. This time the bruising is on my son’s side, near his tailbone – an area he has consistently been injured in before. This isn’t an isolated injury, and it’s certainly not a one-time concern. It’s part of a long, documented, and devastating pattern of ignored cries for help.

My son Cyliss has been diagnosed with adjustment disorder, chronic stress, trauma-related confusion, and emotional overwhelm. His body shows what his voice has tried to say – but the system continues to silence both.

When I reported this most recent injury, I was dismissed – again. Told to “wait until Monday,” while I was looking at visible bruising on my son’s body. I’ve been documenting for over many years.
Photos. Reports. Text messages. Medical records. And even now, when I do everything right – no one listens.

This is no longer about lack of services – this is about negligence and willful blindness. This is about a system so broken that it has normalized injury, trauma, and procedural misconduct at the expense of our children’s safety.

The social worker even admitted she wouldn’t read the report because it was the weekend – meanwhile, a child is bruised and hurting.

This is not protection.

This is abandonment.

Enough.

We are calling for:

Mandatory investigations when repeated physical injuries are reported.

No more placement with caregivers already documented as a risk.
A province-wide registry tracking concealed or dismissed abuse cases.
Oversight from an independent trauma-informed child advocate not tied to CAS.
An immediate third-party review of my son’s case, before permanent damage is done.

If you’ve ever wondered whether child protection systems protect the wrong people—this is your wake-up call.

I’m doing this for every child who never got to say what hurt them, for every parent forced to watch from the sidelines while their child is failed over and over again.

Cyliss deserves better. EVERY CHILD DESERVES BETTER , all families We all do. Please share, sign, and raise your voice.

Petition Update:

22 Out of 32 Warning Signs – Still No HelpProfessionals across North America recognize 32 clinical signs of child abuse—emotional, physical, psychological, and neglect-related. These warning signs exist to protect children before irreversible harm occurs.

My son Cyliss shows 22 of these 32 signs.

And yet, no one has stepped in to protect him.

They’re devastating.

Detailed Breakdown of What Cyliss Is Living With:

1. Physical Abuse (Recognized: 8 | Cyliss: 7)

Unexplained bruises in multiple stages of healing
Fear of certain adults
Flinching or cowering
Frequent pain without clear cause
Physical aggression or withdrawal
Difficulty sitting or walking
Over-compliance or acting “parentified”

2. Emotional / Psychological Abuse (Recognized: 9 | Cyliss: 8)

Low self-esteem and self-blame
Anxiety, phobias, or intense fear
Speech issues or regression
Trouble forming attachments
Excessive people-pleasing or shutdowns
Mood swings or irrational guilt
Nightmares and trouble sleeping
Emotional numbing

3. Neglect (Recognized: 9 | Cyliss: 5)

Missed medical/dental care
Disconnection from school (100+ days)
Removal from trauma-based therapy
Emotional isolation
Basic needs (emotional or physical) unmet

4. Trauma-Related Behaviors (Recognized: 6 | Cyliss: 5)

Diagnosed Adjustment Disorder
Stress dysregulation
Defiance or sensory overload
Emotional numbing
Loss of trust in caregivers

Conclusion:

If even 4–6 warning signs are grounds for professional concern, then 22 out of 32 should be an emergency.

Yet here I am — still being silenced, blamed, and blocked from protecting my own child. The system continues to ignore not just me, but the clinical evidence.

We are calling for:

Mandatory trauma screening when multiple signs are present
Protection over procedure
Legislation to ensure accountability and transparency

This is why I created CYLISS’s Law. Because too many families are screaming into silence, and too many children are being harmed while agencies look the other way.
