Hello CEDI Supporters,
We invite you to attend the Antioch For Palestine Public Forum on Tuesday, October 8th, 2024 at 4pm PT to connect with community efforts for financial, academic, and cultural divestment from genocide.
Antioch University's public image is one of a progressive, social-justice oriented institution. It advertises its commitment to racial justice as central to its mission. Internally, Antioch University’s response to the genocide in Palestine has displayed a pattern of deplorable silence and avoidance; when it has spoken, through the words of campus administrators, program directors, and Chancellor William Groves, it has advanced racist, Zionist views, showed solidarity with imperialist oppressors and white supremacy, and demonstrated its hypocrisy.
The forum will be a liberation-centered, student-led space, open to community members and partners interested in the Antioch community experiences.
This forum is a student-led event, supported by the Council for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion; Counselors for Social Justice; and the 2023-2024 AUS Trauma Certificate Cohort. Antioch for Palestine is an autonomous coalition of community members, including students, alumni, and faculty, who hope to see our University act in congruence with our stated social justice mission.
We hope you will join us, use this link to register and be sent the link for the forum.
Thank you so much for your continued support.
For Justice,
CEDI (The Council for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion)
